There is no doubt that Europe is one of the most preferred and popular continents when it comes to tourism. Every year, the number of tourists to visit Europe to explore the history and culture of the various European destinations is uncountable. The popularity of the Shenzhen visa at least says the same. One question mostly asked to anyone who has travelled Europe is – Which destination have you visited? The answer of more than 80% will be Britain. And why shouldn’t they because Great Britain is really great and offers tons of things for its visitors to see.

From the lifestyle of the British to the charm and glamour of cities like London, it is hard to resist visiting London when you are in Europe! While London is a great holiday destination, it is not the only great holiday destination in Europe so do  not make the mistake of visiting London alone while there are so many other great destinations to visit while in Europe. However, let us first explore what you should not miss while visiting London.

Why explore just Britain?

They say when life gives you lemon, make lemonade and have a good time sipping it at the beach side. Similarly, once you have landed in Europe, why just explore Britain when some neighboring countries also have tons to offer and to be explored.

• Lisbon

Being the Capital of Portugal, Lisbon is hilly and has tons of cafes in the city. This is what gives rise of its famous café culture. The place offers perfect weather as it is a coastal city with tons of beaches and attractions to be explored. With an existing population of around half a million and thousands of footfalls every month, you will see Lisbon as a cheerful city full of hustle and bustle.

 Tourist attractions in Lisbon include – Belem Tower, Lisbon Oceanarium, Vasco Da Gama Tower and Rossio Square. Apart from these, there are also a few monasteries and castles which you can visit if you are interested in its history and culture. 

• Buenos Aires

When you hear Buenos Aires, it means Argentina is calling! Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and is known for its European lifestyle. The glamorous city is home to about 3 million residents and has lots in store for you.

• Cascais

Cascais is another city in Portugal which is located very near to Lisbon. It is merely 30 kilometers west of Lisbon and must not be missed on your Lisbon trip. Being another coastal town, Cascais is one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. One will surely have a great holiday exploring both Lisbon and Cascais together.

• Algarve

Another city in Portugal not be missed is Algarve. It is located at the southern tip of the country making it the southernmost point of Portugal. This is the perfect place for beach lovers who would love to relax and have a sun bathe in a cool and calm environment.

• Edinburgh

This elegant medieval town may have a population less than half a million but you will never feel lonely here.

Things not to miss in Edinburgh – Arthur’s Seat, Holyrood Palace, Scottish National Gallery, Camera Obscura, Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle, National War Museum, Edinburgh Vaults etc.
