Another accomplished, an oil
painting that could almost be a watercolour, with the mount clearly visible
in the background. The face of the Madonna is really a marvelous piece of painting, with delicate
shadowing, and flesh tones. The child is, perhaps less successfully rendered,
but still a great picture
