Holidays are around the corner. The beauty of a holiday is that you can do whatever you want. You don't have to go to work. You don't have to get up early to go to work, or go to bed early either – you can do as you please for this little bit of the year. The downside of a holiday is that you always end up wishing you had more because the time goes by so fast.
You could use the time to sleep and of course you may need to catch up on a lot of sleep. You could go for a great ski holiday in France by yourself or with your family. You can also stay at home and complete all those house chores and renovations that you have been putting off.
But there is another possibility, you could stay home and expand your cultural horizons. We are lucky enough to live in a place where there are amazing art exhibitions all the time, but especially at this time of year.
So use this holiday time to go and see some of the wonderful art that is available for you to see. It is important to support the arts.
The economic crisis has had a dire effect on the funding that is being given to the arts. So make sure that you offer your support by going to see the exhibitions.
